Italian composer and violinist based in Rome. My work combines classical influences with contemporary genres, spanning from chamber music to theater scores. Active in both solo and collaborative projects, I explore diverse musical styles while maintaining a focus on expressive and textured compositions.

africanhorn is a musical project born in Rome in 2023 from the collaboration between Alessandro Colasanti and Vittorio Sommese, initially conceived to create the soundtrack for an experimental short film. In 2024, africanhorn released their self-titled album, an eleven-track work running approximately twenty-six minutes, followed by projects such as Tidal Crises and the single Off Your Belt. It waves together electronic layers, classic sound structures, and transitions between tension and stillness. 

In 2025 the duo expands upon Colasanti and Sommese’s individual artistic research—already active under the project Colasanti Sommese and affirms their commitment to exploring the boundaries between sound and image

Nel 2025 il duo amplia la ricerca artistica individuale di Colasanti e Sommese—già attiva sotto il progetto Colasanti Sommese e conferma il loro impegno nell’esplorare i confini tra suono e immagine.
